Price increase goes into effect for shipments from November 1, 2021
Tokyo, October 21, 2021 – JAPAN VAM & POVAL CO.,LTD. (JVP) (Head Office: Sakai, Osaka, Japan, President Yoshiharu Koizumi) announced that it will increase the sales price of its Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). This increase will go into effect for shipments from November 1, 2021, and is incremental to previously announced price increase on August 17, 2021.
Due to the sharp global rise in the prices of ocean freight, crude oil, naphtha, acetic acid and rising utility cost, we now have to implement an upward revision in the price of PVA as follows,
