The price increase goes into effect for shipments on May 16, 2022
Tokyo, May 1, 2022 – JAPAN VAM & POVAL CO.,LTD. (JVP) (Head Office: Sakai, Osaka, Japan, President Yoshiharu Koizumi) announced that it will increase the sales price of its Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). This increase goes into effect for shipments on May 16, 2022, and is incremental to the previously announced price increase on March 10, 2022.
In addition to the global rise in the prices of ocean freight, crude oil and naphtha, utility cost has been increasing sharply in recent months. We now have to implement an upward revision in the prices of PVA as follows,
